What makes a word puzzle hard?
Hard rounds introduce unusual letter patterns, repeated letters, and less common consonants. Several answers may appear to fit the same clues, so each guess should either test a likely solution or eliminate multiple candidates.
Use evidence efficiently
Keep confirmed letters in place, move yellow letters into positions you have not ruled out, and avoid gray letters unless you are testing a duplicate. If a pattern still has several possible answers, use one information-rich guess instead of checking them one at a time.
